Weeknight Protein
Dinner should not be a project
Satisfying, protein-forward dinners without a long grocery list, a sink full of dishes, or an hour of prep.
What you will find here
Familiar supermarket ingredients, approachable steps, and dinners that land in the 30–45 minute range. Every recipe explains the technique that decides whether it works: where the browning comes from, which step cannot be rushed, what goes wrong and why, and how the leftovers behave. Protein stays front and center, but flavor and comfort still matter.
Who writes these recipes
Weeknight Protein is a small independent site with no test-kitchen staff and no invented bylines. Recipes are drafted with AI assistance and then edited and fact-checked by the site's editors before publishing: ingredient amounts, pan sizes, cooking times, temperatures, allergens, and food-safety guidance. Every recipe carries the same byline, and no recipe is presented as kitchen-tested unless a human has cooked it exactly as written and the page says so.
A short collection on purpose
We publish a small number of dinners rather than a large catalogue, and we remove recipes that do not earn their page. Cooking times are guidance and a thermometer is the authority; where a recipe gives an estimated protein figure, it links to the data behind it.
Read our editorial policy and recipe disclaimer before cooking.
